30th Annual Sprint Triathlon

Village of Walnut Creek

(Hwy 70—Approximately 10 miles East of Goldsboro)

SPRINT race will consist of: 

 1/2 mile swim

20 mile bike

5k run

SHARK Race will consist of:

500 yard swim

14 mile bike

5k run

What is Stewards of Children?

     Stewards of Children is a preventiong training program that teaches adults ow to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.  The program is designed for organizations that serve youth and for individuals concerned about the safety of children.  It is the only nationally distributed, evidence based program proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes, and change child protective behaviors.

How register for the FREE Stewards of Children online training:

YMCA Summer Group Swim Lessons

The YMCA is offering several sessions of group swim lessons this summer. 

Lessons are divided into groups for children 3-5 years old and 6 years and older.  Lessons will run

Monday-Thursday for two weeks. 

Lessons start June 15th and new sessions will begin every 2 weeks.

June 15th-June 25th

Session 2

June 29th-July 9th

Session 3

July 13th- July 23rd

Session 4

July 27th-August 6th

3-5 year olds, $40 for members & $80 for non-members

6 years and older, $50 for members & &90 for non-members
